Cuca is a young boy living an idyllic life in a tranquil rural setting. His world his shattered when his father leaves him and his mother to find work in the big city, and so Cuca sets off on an epic journey to find his dad. The world around him, while inspired by modern day Brazil, is infused with a fantastical energy, fuelled by Cuca's youthful imagination.
